Ooooooooh Look! I'm in another book!
My very first fantasy tale is one of the fantastical stories in this gorgeous anthology, now available for pre-order.
Mitzi Szereto is the editor so you know it's going to be good. I love working with her. She's a real pro and she's not afraid to take chances.
Mitzi published one of my first stories, before I was even Madeline Moore. "Hurting Hugh" appeared in the Revenge Anthology listed on this page, to your right.
She asked me to edit the story down as much as I could as she wanted to include a couple more stories as well. I did so.
Now I'm not unknown. I submitted my story, "In the Kingdom of Roz" because I wanted to try writing something new and because Mitzi is the editor. She asked me to edit the story down as much as I could. I did so. Some things never change!
Both times it was for the best, by the way. She's a talented editrix.
I'm in good company in this anthology. Pre-order Thrones of Desire in the UK by clicking here
More later, dear blog readers, I'm finishing a petit novel (my first) for the new, all digital Harper Collins Imprint mentioned below: Michief.
Bye for now.

Merry Merry and Happy Happy
'Tis the season when even the grumpiest blogger must bow to the pressure of the masses and say, "Merry Christmas" or at least "Happy Holidays."
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
And Happy New Year, too.
I should post a picture of something festive here but instead I will direct you to the brilliant Mil Millington's Xmas card. He wrote the hilarious book Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About and his Christmas card is much funnier than anything I can come up with at the mo.
Hey, I've got stuff to do, man!
Enjoy the funny read and pretend I wrote it but don't pretend I plagiarised it. Or you can just accept that he wrote it and I sent you a link. Either way, my gift to all of you:
Mil Millington's 2011 Xmas Card
Peace, people! I mean, honestly . . .
